I am 178cm height, 73kg, with a 188cm wingspan. I was having a hard time finding a gi that wouldn't eventually shrink past my wrist without being too big everywhere else. In fact, Kusakura who prides themselves on providing over 100 sizes for 99% of fits did not fit me according to their standards custom measurement. I would have had to custom fit order a gi marked up 50% for them to give two full sizes to my arm length (which is hard to believe so I was nervous dropping that kind of money with no returns). Fuji arms were just way too short to fit my body and returned that. However, I tried the IJF Champion Gold because their staff said this would fit, and it does! I measured 172.3cm wingspan out of box and after 4 cold washes it has stabilized at 167 and is right at the wrist. What a relief! I have also got many compliments at the dojo on the gi which is a nice bonus.

I wanted to purchase a gi for my sons 17th birthday and was running short on time. After contacting Matsuru, they walked me through the sizing and cuts of the different options. Once the selection was done, they made sure the order was completed and shipped out as soon a possible. The gi arrived before his birthday and he loved it. The fit and quality are superb.

I placed on order for an IJF Champion Gold gi with Sergio after discussing the different options. I gave him my height and weight and he suggested a size 4.5. The order was placed in the morning and it was already shipped out to me that afternoon. Judo gi arrived just over a week later, followed the washing instructions that Sergio gave me and the gi shrunk to just about the desired amount. The gi should fit perfectly after one more wash.
