My nicest tournament gi... feels soft but tough to the touch. Even though I would not call myself thin, the slim cut fits me better than standard gi that still feels baggy when arms are right length. No shrinking needed.

The gi was a great size out of the bag. After a single wash it tightened up to fit just a little big which should be perfect with continued use/wash cycles.
This was a huge relief as I wasn’t quite sure which size to get despite the size charts on the site.
For reference, gi size 4 regular fit and I’m 5’9” 190lbs.
