As I needed a new karate gi, I started to search for the one that would be comfortable, snappy, reasonably priced and well made.
After a long research, among others, I found this one. I was reluctant at first even though the reviews were great as I didn’t want to make a mistake. After all, you’re buying it online without trying it on! Other quality brand names gis went up in price recently so after more research, I decided to give this one a try.
I am glad I did. It didn’t arrive right away as this was over the holiday and they were probably closed. However, customer service responded; they were very friendly, polite, and professional.
When it arrived, I tried it on and it fit very well. I washed it in the cool water and dried it on very low setting and it didn’t seem to shrink.
Seems true to size. I ordered size 4 (174 cm and 145lb). It feels great and has a great snap and looks well made. I like my sleeves shorter so I rolled them in twice and they stayed that way during the classes. So far I am very happy with this purchase and the price I paid. I showed it to my Sensei and he likes it as well. i very much recommend this Gi.

Ordered not knowing how it would fit since I am bigger than the spec. Fits great. TIght and amazing quality.

I bought this Gi for my husband, and he is very happy with it. The fit is right, and he really likes that it has his initials. The only thing I would have liked even better is for the initials to be in the same font as the branded writing on the shoulders. It looks a bit weird to me that they are in a completely different font.
